On February 19 , Air Cargo Cooperation Estonia (ACCE100) held a workshop at the Tallinn Airport featuring speakers from SEB, JD.COM and Thinnect. SEB Innovation Lab co-founder mr. Mart Maasik presented a case study based on the leading cross-industry collaboration network in the Nordics – Combient. The highlight of the workshop was the keynote note speech delivered via telco by mr. Brian Zhang, manager of corporate development for international logistics at JD.com as the Chinese ecommerce giant is closer than ever to opening its first combined fulfillment/transportation hub in Europe. If implemented, the JD.com hub is likely to significantly change the ecommerce logistics landscape in wider Europe; it will also become the first ever Chinese ecommerce hub to be opened on the Old Continent.
