Despite its modest size, Estonia is home to a growing number of companies who develop, among other, innovative global software solutions for e-commerce logistics, air cargo, sourcing and procurement of aviation materials as well as aircraft MRO and unmanned aircraft systems providers.

In 2019 some of these companies formed Estonian Aviation Cluster in order to get a voice and more efficiently promote its interests and know-how. By autumn 2020, the number of active Cluster member companies has grown to twenty, working in nine main focus areas: air cargo, airlines, airport and related services, industry, IT services, education, maintenance providers, service providers and unmanned aircraft system.
