On 28 April 2026, more than 230 delegates gathered in the Latvian capital of Riga for the Nordic Air Cargo Symposium — the premier annual event for the Scandinavian and Northern European air cargo markets.
For the first time in its history, the symposium was held outside the Nordic capitals, and the move proved to be a success, attracting record attendance from across the region’s air cargo community.
As one of the event’s co-hosts, Qstep proudly showcased its technology alongside several other Estonian companies operating in the air cargo sector. The symposium provided an excellent platform to demonstrate Estonia’s innovation, agility, and ability to adapt in an increasingly complex logistics environment.
As Steven Verhasselt of FB Cargo Strategy noted during the event: “For air cargo, the airport is not a final destination, but an enabling platform.”
At Qstep, we strongly share this vision. As a neutral software platform supporting air cargo handling companies and agents, we believe technology should simplify collaboration, improve operational efficiency, and enable growth across the cargo ecosystem.
Beyond technology, the event was also about people — the professionals behind the solutions who continue to drive innovation in air cargo handling every day. The Nordic Air Cargo Symposium 2026 once again demonstrated the importance of collaboration, forward thinking, and digital transformation in shaping the future of the industry.
